We are Little Outdoor Adventures!

I could go into our family's life story but instead I feel like we should just be candid and jump right on into it.

We are the Kruse family. Cory, Catherine and Claire (5). This platform has been in the making for 5 years, the day we became parents. My husband and I love all things outdoors, and our passions are hunting, shooting and fishing. Always being in a blind or at a gun club, we were astonished at the lack of supplies, equipment, resources, and information on how to do what you love while incorporating children.

As our little one grew, we experienced all the do's and don't's, and how to successfully (after A LOT OF ATTEMPTS) incorporate her in a way that engaged and included her. In addition, we have received some amazing advice and ideas from other awesome mentors and parents!

We are not only going to share our learning experiences with you, we want to know what YOU are wanting to know for your specific child! We are passionate about helping others, and tending to children's hearts. What better way to do that, than to empower, equip and educate them on how to learn how to encounter the outdoors the way God designed it!

Look at the JOY some night fishing brought to Claire's heart! Although it was WAY past her bedtime, she had her mind made up she wanted to fish at night, under the lights and eat that fish! We knew it would be a late night, but as you can see, it was WORTH IT! We chose to focus on the joy that would bring her, rather than her bedtime. It is up to us as parents to allow them to explore the outdoors how their heart chooses to process it instead of putting all the things we know on them, expecting them to absorb the exact same things the exact same way. Personally, Cory and I would rather be in a bow stand, but this girl.... would rather a rod in her hand 🐟... and we are COMPLETELY OK with that! 🙌
